Component: (stearsoft.co.uk/STEARsoft web interface/Palm-device) Suggestion: Hi we have been looking at the Lite version of your software for our day centre (we run homes for adults with learning disabilities) it seems that your software would work for us but we would need to have the ability to export the data from the programme in a report format. Does your software produce reports? |

Dear Sue, Thank you for your post. Thank you for also raising this question as the paid-for iPhone/iPad version of STEARsoft has some report options that aren't in the Lite version. I have updated the following page to show what sort of reports can be produced from the paid version of the iPhone/iPad software: http://www.stearsoft.co.uk/iphone.php At the bottom of that screen there are examples of 4 different exports/reports. If these would do what you want, this is probably the cheapest and easiest solution. If you want to pull together data from more than one iPad/iPhone (as a school might pool data from more than one teacher's records), then purchasing a school-license of the windows version of STEARsoft (available on this website) is likely to fit your needs. You can trial this software to check it does what you want if that's the case. This option is not quite so cheap and is a little more complex to set up (more akin to a network manager's job in a school). I hope that helps. Yours, Marcus. |

Hi Marcus Thanks for your prompt response. Having looked at your revised link the sort of report that we would need isn't available as a product standard. Would it be possible for you to prepare a bespoke report for us? I appreciate that there would be an additional cost to us incidentally we would require server licences. Kind regards Sue |

Dear Sue, How easy is it to describe the sort of report you need? If you're able to describe it here (or put a link here to a separate document describing it) I'll take a view on what I could do.
