Forum thread: Multiple copies of same class appear for same lesson

Just a quick one that I think I've asked before! I have the same class appearing twice for the one period on the ame day. It is a class that changes pupils every term, and I had to create a new class and new registers for it. PS. take care of the Ashes for us will you - we'll get them back off you next year! Hi Brendan, Sorry for the slower reply this time. If they are separate classes, go into your old class (web version) and use the 'Delete lessons...' option at the top to remove the lessons you don't want. If it is one class with too many sessions, again go into it and use 'Delete lessons...' to remove all future lessons. Then go to 'Add session...' and create multiple sessions (probably with the default options) to then have just the one set of sessions created. I hope that will solve your issue. Let me know if not. The latest version (4.2.4) should have improved logic to deal with this situation automatically if you adjust and re-create registers for an existing class - (still if you have two classes in the system you will need to delete the unwanted sessions in the old class). PS. It was about time we reminded ourselves what the ashes looked like! |
