Hi, guys have you thought of adding a mark book capability to the program. It would be great to keep attendance and marks in the one spot.

Dear Mark,
Thank you for your post.  This is a feature that has periodically been considered to add, and we still may do so at some point.  It is hard to produce something that betters a spreadsheet in this regard though, particularly for visual impact, flexibility and cross-platform interoperability and performance. I have experimented with a few systems and have always abandoned them to go back to using a spreadsheet in preference. Graphs, highlighting, links between different sheets, hidden areas, split screens etc etc help cut through understanding markbooks more than the simplified 'average' or total grade most systems just give. In short, I've been hesitant to develop something I wouldn't want to use myself as a teacher.
Yours,
Marcus.

Marcus,

I currently use a spreadsheet for marks/grades and i totally agree with its workability and visual impact, however, i love using my iPhone and adding things on the run it would be great if you could include a feature to upload a spreadsheet or edit one from within you iPhone app.

Mark,

Thank you for your further thoughts. What you describe is an ideal that I agree with, so we may well get there one day. In the mean time, the task is to find a seperate spreadsheet App with a good synchronising workflow...
