Forum thread: Use student preferred name for notes

I have seen several people use a student's preferred name to indicate on what days they have permission for home study. Eg "Adam M5 Tu45 Th5" to mean they have permission on Monday for just period 5, Tuesday periods 4 and 5 and Thursday period 5. You can of course use your own codes and have different uses. The concept is to use it as you might mark a traditional paper register with such useful notes. |

Be aware that if you put too much here, on a palm handheld you may not see the student's actual name |
